  Precare

Remove any nail enhancements before the treatment at home

Manicures and pedicures are for all types of nails, even nail biters, so don't feel you haven't got any nails to work on, I work on lot's of nail biters and they say it has helped them to grow and look after their nails and cuticles!

  Aftercare

Always use a basecoat before applying nail varnish. This will help to prevent your nails from becoming stained by the varnish or by becoming yellow.

Don't clip or cut your nails, and don't use a metal file. Use a grit emery board as this will not crack or shatter your nails.

Only ever file or clip your toenails straight across and not too short to prevent ingrowing nails.

Keep your nails at a sensible length to avoid them breaking.

Try to wear gloves when using detergents or bleach, or when washing up as exposure to harsh chemicals or lot's water can make your nails weak, brittle and dry.

Use hand lotion / balm and cuticle oil every day to help prevent your nails from drying and to moisturise soft tissue.

Remember, regular manicures & pedicures will ensure all of your nails look beautiful.
